Delivery

Next day, if you're quick.

Standard delivery

Orders are sent out suitably packaged with a recognised courier on a 2–3 business day service. Please double-check your shipping address at the checkout.

Next business day

Choose express despatch at the checkout and order before 12 noon, Monday to Thursday, for delivery the next business day. Express orders placed before noon on a Friday arrive on the Monday.

Mainland UK only. We don't offer international delivery at the moment.

Returns & refunds

28 days to change your mind.

Changed your mind?

Return your items within 28 days of receipt, provided they come back to us in perfect condition, unused and in a resalable state. For hygiene reasons we can't accept pillowcases, hair scrunchies or wax melts that have been opened, unless they arrived faulty or damaged.

Return postage is the customer's responsibility. Please keep your proof of postage, as we can't accept liability for items lost or damaged on their way back. Send returns to:

Faulty or damaged goods

We'll replace or refund anything that arrives faulty or damaged. Email hello@mommeandwick.com within 48 hours of delivery with the reason and a photo, and we'll sort it.

Payment

Safe, and simple.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, plus express Apple Pay and Google Pay. If you use express checkout, please make sure the shipping address saved on your device is the one you want.

Payments are handled by Stripe, one of the world's leading payment providers. Your card details go straight to Stripe over an encrypted connection and are never stored on our site. Stripe is fully PCI DSS compliant.

Silk pillowcases & scrunchies

What grade of silk do you use?

All Momme & Wick silk products are 22 momme, 100% pure mulberry silk, grade 6A, with the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate. It's the weight and grade that lasts, at a price that's fair.

What does OEKO-TEX Standard 100 mean?

It's an independent certification that the finished product has been tested and found free from harmful substances.

What are the benefits of a silk pillowcase?

Silk's low friction minimises breakage, frizz and sleep creases, and it doesn't draw moisture away from your hair and skin the way cotton does. It's also naturally hypoallergenic and temperature-regulating, which makes it a good choice for sensitive skin and for a more restful night.

Is a satin pillowcase as good as a silk one?

No. Satin is cheaper and hard-wearing, but it's made from synthetic fibres that can't offer the same benefits, and can actually irritate hair and skin and trap heat.

How do I care for my silk?

Machine or hand wash at no more than 30°C, as on the care label. Dry naturally and, if you need to, iron on a cool setting. Our customers tell us theirs still look new after a year of weekly washes.

Candles & wax melts

What type of wax do you use?

Soy wax only, in both the candles and the melts.

Why only pure essential oils?

Because they do so much for mental, emotional and physical wellbeing, and because we prefer their natural aromas to the overpowering scent of synthetic fragrance oils. They're also clean-burning and phthalate-free.

Why is my candle smoking?

The wick is probably too long, or there's debris in the wax. Trim the wick to about 7 mm and make sure the surface is clear before lighting.

Are your products tested on animals?

Absolutely not. We love animals too.
