What are the benefits of a silk pillowcase?
Silk pillowcases benefit hair and skin by reducing friction to minimise breakage, frizz and sleep creases, while also helping to retain moisture. Additionally silk is naturally hypoallergenic and temperature-regulating, making it a good choice for sensitive skin and for achieving a more restful night’s sleep. Is a satin pillowcase as good as a silk pillowcase?
No, although more affordable and durable, a satin pillowcase is made from synthetic materials which cannot offer the same benefits as silk, and can actually cause irritation to hair, skin and temperature.
How do I care for my silk items?
Our silk products, as per the care labels, can be machine or hand washed at a temperature no higher than 30 degrees centigrade, dried naturally and ironed on a cool setting.
Candles and Wax Melts
What type of wax do you use?
We only use soy wax in our candles and wax melts.
Why do you only use pure essential oils in your candles and wax melts?
We only use pure essential oils in our aromatherapy products because they have so many positive impacts on one’s mental, emotional and physical well-being. We like the natural aromas they give as opposed to over-powering scents of synthetic fragrance oils, and the fact that they are clean burning and phthalate-free.
Why is my candle smoking?
The wick may be too long or there may be debris in the candle. Check that the wick is cut to approximately 7mm and that the top of the candle is free from debris before lighting.
Are your products tested on animals?
Absolutely not! We love animals too.
